Thirty, forty kilometers from Berlin but still far from the hustle and bustle, the nature park Damne-Heideseen is truly a recreational area. Don’t matter if you are on your way with muscle-, sail-, or motor drive, the Dahmeseen are one of the most beautiful water sport areas of Berlin. Hiker, rider and bicycle driver of all ages find a well-developed track path.
Over a surface of 60.0000 hectare the large reserve area of Brandenburg ranges from Teupitz in the west to Kosssenblatt in the east and from the Friedersdorfer Heide in the north to the Neuendorfer Lake in the south.

The natural variety of the landscape with over 100 lakes, various streams, wooded valleys, moors, dunes, end moraine highs is highly impressive.
Furthermore, the historical formed; wide and open cultural landscape with its richness of meadows, fruit trees, acres, hedges and solitaire trees impresses habitants as well as visitors of the region.

The tracks of the Teutons are evidence of an eventful history near Klein Köris and the Slavic villages like Streganz and Pätz, which lie at the stretch of water. Consequently, fishery has long tradition in the region, which is presented in the fishery museum Köllnitz in Groß Schauen near Storkow.
Those, who have a cultural interest, will be amazed by the idyllic village centers, the beautiful churches and historical manor houses in old, often overgrown, mysterious parks. The unbelievable speeding of everyday life made the spirit and eye seeing and judging wrongly. Here while listening to the sound of silence one may reach new prospects and deep insights for everyday life.
