Naturpark
Stromberg-Heuchelberg

Wine. Forest. Felling good.

The nature park Stromberg- Heuchelberg is a typical recreation area in the middle of the area of Karlsruhe, Heilbronn, Ludwigburg and Pforzheim.
Though one of smaller nature parks (33.000 ha), it’s very important as an island of silence and recreation. The main theme of the park: Wine. Forest. Feeling good, says it all.
The wooded hilly landscape, where north-facing slopes are covered with forest and the south- facing slopes with vineyards, is famous for outstanding wines like the Lemberger, Trollinger, Riesling and Kerner.
At the foot of the most vineyards are vast meadows located. In the valleys, along small becks and rivers, lovely villages invites you to take a rest at one of the traditional taverns.
The monastery Zisterziens in Maulbronn, which is part of the world cultural heritage, is worth a visit as well.
