Naturpark Neckartal - Odenwald
Welcome to the nature park Neckartal Odenwald! Experience the wooded low mountain range landscape of the Odenwald, with its flanking landscapes Bergstraße in the west, Bauland in the east, Kraichgau in the south and the deep incised Neckar valley in Baden- Württemberg on foot, by bike or waterborne.
Charming landscapes with great variety, rocks and meadows characterise the look of the nature park and old castles, lovely villages and impressing vantage points invite the guest to stay. Take your time to get an impression of the picturesque Old Towns, the Heidelberg castle or the history-charged limes. Or visit, far from mass tourism, the unique Eberstädter stalactite cave. As a main subject the nature park offers varied information of natural history. Moreover many nature trials inform about ecological relationships. Before you start, it is recommended to visit the nature park centre in Eberbach, which is located in the oldest and nicest stone house of town, and where visitors can get all information about the park. All things considered the nature park offers everyone multifaceted opportunities for recreational activities.
