The romance of the Thaya valley
 Placed at the northern bend of the Thaya, the characteristic element of this 200ha Nature Park is the natural river landscape with the remaining wetland forests, slope and ravine woods and wide water meadows. Romantic tracks and paths lead along the river, over the wide meadows of the Thaya and up to the wooded ridge tops.

Information centre in the castle
Deer enclosure, children’s play area and barbecue hut
‘Ants path’ and “Fountain of Youth”
Fern ravine with the rock pulpit “Lorelei”
Dowsing hands-on experimental path
Geomantic experience tour with dousing sticks and pendulum (prior booking needed)
Standard tours about various topics (always first Friday in the month, from July to August)
Standard tours about the cycle of the year (always the first Saturday in the month from May to September)
Meeting point at the Infostand, Kirchenstraße, 2 pm
